NHS Management Training Schemes 50th Anniversary
Working in partnership with a major global logistics agency, aps was responsible for the creative, content and technical elements of the production. The event brief was to showcase the achievements and key milestones of the previous 50 years and present an inspiring vision for the future to 1200 delegates at ExCel in London. The program for the event required the design and construction of a presentation auditorium, exhibition space, dining facilities, networking hub and party area.
In order to deliver maximum visual impact we created a stage set based on appropriate NHS branding and incorporating a 25m wide screen. Content was displayed via our in-house media delivery software. Content included HD video sequences, live performance backdrops, live video, and key note speech support.

Property awards
The Insider Property Awards North West is an annual prestigious event rewarding the crème de la crème of the North West’s property industry. aps organised the installation of all lighting, data, audio and autocue equipment and liaised directly with the venue to ensure smooth running on the night.
All thirteen award sponsors walked up to the stage to a personalised 30 second video montage of key statements, images and logos produced in the aps digital media team. In the centre of the room we installed a cube screen for live camera relay, above a circular stage for the compere.

Retail bank
Launching a new premium banking service for their most valuable customers, our client needed to really educate, motivate and inspire their branch management team to both understand and embrace this ground breaking proposition and ultimately give them the confidence to promote it with passion.
We developed an inspiring VIP theme to all elements of the conference. We branded the main conference room and gala dinner venue with the new fresh branding and introduced a red carpet entrance and paparazzi element. We also injected some real team building and fun with competitive management games. We combined all production, technical and creative expertise to deliver an inspiring conference, then managed all logistical elements to ensure all the delegates enjoyed a memorable dinner at a separate venue.

England kit launch
For such an eagerly anticipated product launch, Umbro needed to really deliver with impact all the great emotions England supporters all over the country feel while watching their nation doing them proud. Excitement, passion and pride in abundance.
We created a high impact seven screen multimedia experience with surround sound that really brought to life what the England team stands for, coming to a spectacular climax with the kit being revealed, worn by all the key stars of the team.
The launch was also broadcast live by all major broadcast companies and over the internet using our webcasting services.

Nuclear new Build
To provide a total event management solution for a high profile two day event at Westminster, for over 500 delegates and government speakers. Our client required multiple elements including main conference room, break out rooms, dining area and exhibition area.
Our total service approach from concept to delivery enabled us to manage all key elements including technical design and management, speaker management, content development and delivery right through to post event highlight materials. The end result was an event that delighted organisers and delegates alike.
Virtual event
Online Presentation
With limited time and resources, our client wanted key individuals to be able to view an in depth forum on vital research analysis results, discussed in an enclosed meeting environment by four key therapeutic area experts.
Combining our experienced camera crew and innovative virtual services, we filmed the event live in Vienna, including presentations and subsequent discussions and broadcast the event on demand to the selected audience, allowing them to view all elements of the event, respond to polls and submit questions. Our approach saved our client considerable time and money and provided a rich viewing experience for their audience.
Congress
ASCO Chicago 2009
We had multiple clients attending and needing events of different scale and complexity at this annual Pharmaceutical congress. Over the 5 day congress, we delivered all the production elements for over 100 meetings, ranging from multi-image, multi-projection stage sets for 1200 people, to round-table meetings for 20 people.
A significant volume of the meetings were webcast live and simultaneously translated into 3 different languages. Many sessions were delivered with engaging audience Q & A sessions where interactive keypad technology was used to really get the most out of the meetings.
70 aps team members worked around the clock to make sure all the meetings, regardless of size and complexity were delivered successfully, with all clients delighted with the results.
Pharmaceutical Sales Conference
The event was themed totally around James Bond. This started as soon as the delegates got off the plane. They were each given secret identities with the mission of finding the evil villan Dr X.
Delegates were given spy packs, with special glasses to view coded messages and were given theme related team-building tasks all around the island - it was a lot of fun.
We provided all technical support and stage design, we also shot and produced a 'Bond' style HD opening sequence to introduce all the presenters. This included the obligatory 'Bond girl' shot in silhouette. Our camera crew followed the delegates on their missions, with an on-site editor to produce a highlights video which was shown at the close of the event.
Pharmaceutical Stand-alone
We were asked to come up with an innovative staging concept for a 2-day standalone meeting to take place before the ESOT Congress in Venice. The event had been produced in previous years using a hard wall set in both Lisbon and Miami. Though the client wished to use a similar looking set, the sheer size of the room and the fact it was on an island of Venice would have made it an expensive option to create a new stage set. The room was an open cinema used primarily for the Venice film festival, and the natural rake of the seating and the large screen lent themselves perfectly to using projection as a solution.
We used the aps Watchout wide screen presentation, with a twin projection overlay to create an impressive 20m x 8m viewing area. Graphically, we recreated the existing set design and projected this on to the screen 'wall'. Using the Watchout picture-in-picture capabilities and animations, we had multiple insert screens showing everything from live video debates, surgical videos, PPT and audience response systems.
Large event Pharmaceutical expert forum
The 2009 Cardiovascular & Metabolism Expert forum for 2200 people was held at the Atlantico Pavilion in Lisbon.
This event was on a huge scale, and we managed all the logistics for technical delivery and staging. We built a 35m stage set for the event - incorporating 2x12m full HD screens and a central 7m square screen. Images and videos across these screens were all sequenced together and controlled using our Watchout system. The event also had 4 breakout meetings, each having a seperate stage set and exhibition area.
Press conference
The Vodafone cup was a pre-season tournament, staged at Old Trafford. It featured Manchester United, PSV Eindhoven, Boca Juniors and Urawa Red Diamonds. aps were responsible for producing all the branding around the venue, as well as staging and techincal support.
We provided a curved back wall set with graphics for event and sponsor branding, and a five-man tribunal with the Vodafone Cup sitting on a plinth in front of it. Plasma screens were fixed either side of the tribunal to reinforce the branding.
The event was attended by approximately 80 press from TV and radio stations as well as newspapers and magazines. As such, aps had to be prepared to handle requests for audio and video feeds from journalists on the day. This preliminary press launch was followed by a further press conference at the start of the tournament, which was also managed by aps.
